The United Arab Emirates' (UAE) prisons will undergo new changes, as
part of modernisation of the interior ministry's comprehensive strategy
for 2014-2016. The general directorate of strategy and
performance development at the ministry organised a meet Thursday in Abu
Dhabi to incorporate suggestions of the punitive and reformative
institutions for modernisation.
The ministry's effort comes to
conform to the requirements of the federal government strategy in
continuation with the development process launched by the ministry in
2010.
